Sharon Coplai--Executive Director
After decades of helping patients regain their mobility, retired physical therapist Sharon Coplai knew that she wanted to continue helping those facing tough challenges. She began as a volunteer at Renewing Homes of Greater Augusta (RHGA) enjoying the opportunity to put her physical therapy training to work making homes more accessible for elderly and disabled homeowners. After a brief stint on the RHGA Board, the Executive Director’s position became vacant, and she was asked to step into that role. Under her leadership, the nonprofit staff and volunteers perform critical home repairs for low-income families, elderly residents, and individuals with disabilities, improving neighborhoods and changing lives. Sharon’s passion for service and ability to develop collaborative community support have been instrumental in RHGA's success in improving housing quality and accessibility across the Staunton-Augusta Co-Waynesboro region. She and her husband, Tom, enjoy cycling, gardening and traveling as they explore their retirement.

Jeff Kiser--Project Manager
Jeff Kiser came on board as our project manager in March of 2023. He comes to us with an extensive background of leading mission workers from his and other churches. He has led folks on mission trips in poverty-stricken areas of the Appalachians and the storm-damaged areas of the East Coast. Jeff enjoys leading and teaching our volunteers while they work together to accomplish RHGA's goal of making homes warm, safe, dry, and accessible. In his off-time, Jeff enjoys competitive black powder shooting, hunting, and fishing.
